Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellation & Modification

Guests may cancel or modify their reservation free of charge up to 7 days before their scheduled check-in date. Token amount is non-refundable. A 7% deduction on refund will be processed for cancellations made within this window. For example, if the check-in date is January 8th, the guest must cancel or modify by 11:59 PM on January 1st to receive a refund with 7% deduction is applied.

2.2 After Cut-off Date

No cancellations are permitted after the 7-day cut-off deadline has passed but the modification will apply before One day. Any cancellation made after this window will incur a 100% cancellation fee, and the entire booking amount will be forfeited. No exceptions or waivers apply once the cut-off period has elapsed.

2.3 Early Departures

No refunds are provided for early check-outs or unused nights. Once a guest has checked in, the reservation is considered final regardless of the actual duration of stay. The full booking amount remains chargeable and no partial refund will be issued for any unused nights.

2.4 No-Show Policy

Guests who do not show up at the property on the day of their booking and have not cancelled in advance within the eligible free cancellation window will be charged 100% of the total reservation amount. No-shows are treated as equivalent to a same-day cancellation and attract the full cancellation fee without exception.

2.5 Group Bookings — 7 or More Guests

For group bookings involving 7 or more guests, specific group terms apply. No refund is applicable in any case of cancellation or no-show once the group booking has been confirmed. Groups are strongly encouraged to finalise their travel plans before committing to a group reservation.

2.6 Bookings via OTA Partners

Reservations made through third-party online travel agency platforms such as MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Goibibo, or similar channels must be cancelled or modified directly on the platform through which the booking was made. TransitPods does not have the authority to process, amend, or override cancellations or refunds for bookings made through third-party platforms. All such requests are governed entirely by the terms and conditions of the respective booking channel. Token amount is non-refundable.

2.7 Refunds

Refunds for eligible cancellations are processed immediately from the TransitPods side. However, the actual credit of the refund amount to the guest's account may take up to 10 business days to reflect, depending on the guest's payment method and bank processing timelines. TransitPods is not responsible for any delays attributable to banking systems or payment processors.
